Merging the concepts of matter and terra, its name reflects a deep connection to raw material and the earth. The lamp’s silhouette relies on the clean geometry of an oblong, softly rounded form that draws on the comforting familiarity of traditional ceramic baking dishes.

The body of the lamp consists of two glazed ceramic elements produced using traditional slip-casting in plaster molds. Soft radii, rounded edges, and subtle variations endow each piece with a distinct tactile character. Materra emits a warm, pleasantly diffused light, functioning within an interior as both a striking sculptural centerpiece and an atmospheric lighting source.
