Tomáš Král
Swiss-Slovak designer Tomáš Král graduated from the prestigious ECAL in Lausanne, where he has also been teaching since 2010. In his own studio, he designs furniture, lighting, and accessories for international brands.
His work stems from a curious approach to materials and traditional manufacturing processes. He transforms everyday objects and situations with a distinct sense of humor and poetry into functional, clean-lined products. His work has received numerous international awards, including the Red Dot Design Award and the Swiss Federal Design Award, and is represented in leading European museums and galleries.
