Roxor Barstool
The Roxor Barstool stackable bar stool by renowned designer Jiří Pelcl builds on the design language of the Roxor collection. It celebrates low-tech design and a material typically concealed within building structures: ribbed reinforcing steel (rebar). By bringing this raw material into the world of contemporary design, the stool achieves an unmistakable character, a stable footrest, and exceptional strength. The stool is available in two seat heights (64 cm for kitchen islands and 75 cm for standard bar counters).
The distinctive double-jointed connection is not merely a visual motif, but an engineered structural detail that makes the manufacturing process possible. Because rebar cannot be shaped on standard CNC machinery, every single piece is bent, welded, and hand-finished by skilled craftspeople. Thanks to precise craftsmanship and ergonomic contouring, seating is surprisingly comfortable—the ribbed steel profile feels smooth to the touch and offers the same seating comfort as standard wire-frame chairs. The bar stool is highly durable, stackable, and thanks to its protective surface finish, it is engineered for demanding use in outdoor bars, bistros, and modern residential kitchens.
