The Cocon lounge chair by acclaimed designer Lucie Koldová holds a truly special place in the history of Master & Master. As our very first piece of seating furniture, it still represents the craftsmanship and technical prowess of our production today. Its signature circular silhouette—resembling a protective cocoon—is the most technically demanding piece in our portfolio. We mold the veneered plywood in-house in our workshop using custom pressing molds.

The slender steel frame creates visual lightness, while the generously proportioned backrest provides a sense of privacy. Cocon acts as a standalone sculpture in any space. It is available in natural or black oak veneer as well as upholstered versions (including premium sheepskin), allowing it to adapt effortlessly to contemporary residential living rooms as well as executive hotel lobbies, restaurants, and offices.
